5 Ways To Get A Good Score In National Exam

Hello Everyone,

I'm a student in senior high school, and as expected, there will be so many examination such as Try Out that I can't imagine how many it will be, National Exam Simulation, Additional Lessons, Practical Exam, and also National Exam itself.Well, actually SBMPTN is the one that we will really scared of, but before that, we need to face National Exam first. With all that being said, I want to share something to you about tips and tricks that you should do to get a better score in National Exam.

1. Make A Plan

Most of the student don’t plan for how they’ll prepare for an exam. They just tell themselves that they’ll study as much as possible-then they’ll “hope for the best”. Start by making a plan for what time you should study, how many hours each week will you block out to study, how many practice exams will you do, and many more as simple as that.

2. Sleep Well and On Time

Many exams are scheduled for early in the morning—a time when students don’t usually feel very awake.

If you’ll be taking a morning exam, start sleeping earlier at least one week before so that your body will have time to adjust. If not, your mind won’t be in an optimal state to take the exam.

In general, it’s also a good idea to get eight hours of sleep each night. Getting enough sleep is vital if you want to improve your memory and mental focus.

It’s tempting to stay up late, or even pull a few all-nighters, in the days and weeks leading up to the exam, but this is counter-productive. You’ll do better on the exam if you get adequate rest.

3. Study Far Away Before The Exam Starting

It’s common for students to spend one day before an exam doing some last-day studying. This may provide some psychological comfort, but overall it does more harm than good.

One day before an exam, you either know the required information or you don’t. If you frantically review facts or equations during this time, you’ll become more stressed and anxious. This will negatively affect your performance.

Instead, make use of the time before the start of the exam to relax. Visualize yourself answering the questions correctly, and imagine yourself in a state of peace and confidence.

Take a deep breath. Inhale for four seconds, then exhale for four seconds. Repeat this as many times as necessary to calm down.

4. Focus With What You're Doing

When you start your study, then you need to focus on what you're doing. It means, any distraction that you can get, must be avoided. The distraction such as your mobile phone, or any noise that might can loss your focus.

5. Practice Everyday

With practicing everyday, you can get familiar with any kinds structure of the exam. Beside of that, you can know about many kinds of question from easy to hard, so when you face the hard one, you won't be bothered by that. By doing it everyday, you wont forget about the things that you have learned.

At last but not least that you need to pray to God. Everything is possible to God, so dont give up and try hard.
